Still kind of burnt out but I'm hanging in there. I'm trying to ease myself back into commenting and being a person around here but I'm trying to do so slowly so I don't get overwhelmed like crazy again.

Hey everyone, so I am mostly recovered from my mom's visit, so I should be able to be more interactive this week! :D Wooosh. Hoping everyone has had a good week and I am wishing you all the best.

I have made epic lots progress on planning my NaNovel.

It's three-thirty in the morning rn and I don't wanna, and I have no idea when or if I'm sleeping tonight, but it would be nice to wake up to people telling me to deal with laundry and packing and job applications and crap like that. Since the calendar says it's 10/26, I still have no income, and I am to be out of this housing situation by 10/30. It would also be nice to wake up to a hefty chunk of change in my Paypal, because hell if I know how I'm getting any of my stuff—with the exception of my cat, my laptop bag and purse, and the contents of a suitcase or two—out of this housing situation rn.

Yes, I'm avoiding freaking the fuck out over all this by hiding in my NaNo planning, why do you ask?

I'm really pleased with my planning so far, though. "That's not just courting danger, that's asking danger's parents' blessing." I mean the planning has holes in it but I've got days still to patch those, and if I don't, well, the bigger holes are in the fourth quarter of the outline, so I can probably patch them after writing more of the first three quarters and it'll be fine?

Feeling anxious, depressed, and generally flaky. Can't figure out why anyone would want to pay me for anything I'm capable of doing; there are better programmers out there with more experience working remotely.

I did put some donation buttons on my profile. Not expecting much.

I had a really intense therapy session on Saturday and then promptly went to a Halloween party so I could read tarot and do jello shots. I'm a little bruised but now I feel equipped to face what lies ahead in a certain part of my life.

I (finally) start my new job NEXT WEEK and before that I'm taking a weekend trip to Canada. Things are starting to look up for me and I couldn't be happier.
