So, yesterday was a Really Bad Night which was less than thrilling but I'm doing a lot better today, yay on that. I was able to make the above list and not cry while doing so, which...I don't know, I was not really able to say would have been true last night.

I've also gotten holiday cards which is really exciting, though I can't read who they're from because A is not home yet. They had wonderful pictures in as well as stickers though, so that was pretty exciting!

I'm going to go downstairs and get food at some point soon, hopefully in time to catch A when they come home from groceries but we'll see. Beyond that, I'm going to try and take it easy tonight, cause yesterday kinda killed my energy levels and I think I need the recovery time.

Short Story of the Week: Toothsome Things - Chimedum Ohaegbu (link is to the text. also, there is a list of triggers found before the text that you might want to look at, as this is kind of a dark one.)

So, the art for this piece is really, really lovely. It fits the story itself in a wonderful way, which, btw, I do love the story too. It's weird and creepy and has a wonderful rhythm and lyrical style to it. It's a fairy tale themed story, which you guys know I am here for and does a lot of work in a short amount of words.

The whole thing just makes me super happy? Like, the end of it in particular just hits me right where I want and I loved it to pieces. I want to say I read this around the time it came out, or at least a few weeks back, and it still crosses my mind, so I feel like that says enough.

So yeah, I think this is how this is going to work. I'll throw a few words and a link to a short story of some variety and leave it for everyone to consume, or not, whatever you wanna do. If you wanna read the thing and then come talk to me about it in the comments, I am totally cool with that too
