Brief post today because I need to go sleep and b person with family tomorrow all day but have a post in which you all can do the celebration thing

• being generally enthused and excited about things that have happened.
• just being thrilled that you survived.

I posted a bunch of 2018 in review stuff on my journal. Also yesterday was my first day back at work in 2019. On down side I have a cold :(

I got sick to start the year, I'm losing my voice and the boys are not helping. Oh yeah and this cranky old house blew a fuse and we've got a shittone of fuses but none of them are the RIGHT fuse type, so my office is without power until we can send Wes to the shop to get the right kind. Oh and I was having nightmares about moving but having to leave all our cats behind, so yeah, not a good day after a less than good week.

... and I was going to post free fiction to Patreon today, too, but since the final draft is on the computer that doesn't have power ... SIGH AGAIN. At least we were able to make coffee?

I have actually written every day this year!

I know it's only the 4th but considering my track record last year it is a Big Deal.

I finished my outline for my special field exam essay. I have to start writing it and a funding proposal, but having an outline is good. and my advisor liked the outline, too.
