I have zero idea where this week has gone. Like, it happened but I'm honestly not sure what I've done at all. So, that's a thing, I guess. I hope you all are doing better than I am and I wish so many good things to one and all.

This week has been kinda not a week for me too. I went on a date. That feels like literally the only thing that "happened." I have accomplished jack and squat other than to just sorta tread water, it feels like.

I asked for a refund and got it, and I did a bunch of account-cleanup stuff in lastpass. But I'm having such a hard time with Friday that I forgot to wear jeans to work and didn't notice I was in my dress trousers until lunch. XD

The instruction book that came with my planner emphasizes the importance of writing *something* in for every day and it's really helpful. I don't always have a LOT but when I was feeling like I hadn't done anything but be a black hole during February I was able to look back and see that wasn't true.

This week I wrote and turned in my 8,000-word writing assignment that was due today. I am so looking forward to celebrating this weekend by goofing off!

I have a "five-year diary" that does something similar for me--I can look at a quick summary of what I've done not only every day, but also on the same day last year.

I auditioned for a play and didn't get in. This means a 6 month long break from doing theater - which I'd done back to back to exhausting back for five years straight to distract myself from sad events. I am scared of where my brain takes me now that I can't keep it full, and I'm scared of being alone now that people aren't required to see me by imposed schedule.

To counterbalance it, I am ridiculously high on mutual NRE. (Alas, with someone geographically distant, wholly text-based and logistically constrained, so the joy of being loved does little to aleviate the localized isolation, but only makes it easier to bear.)

I've been sick all week, but I got work done and posted the exchange story that was due yesterday.

But also -- Guardian fandom is a happy happening place and I've been reading and commenting, and it's been my happy place all week even when I felt bad.
