i am recovered enough from rsi to type a little, although my left wrist is still dodgty hence thet terrible typing.

My brother's graduation is tomorrow! Family is hard and strange sometimes, but I'm so happy for him that he's finished college despite mental health struggles and a lot of transfer student bureaucracy.

I ordered a sun lamp and made some plans that might make morning executive dysfunction less of a thing. Still feels like a bit Too Much, but also like maybe progress.

I am graduating on Friday! (Again.)

People are being kind of weird about it being the third time I'm actually attending the ceremony to walk the stage. Like a BSc with First Class Honours in Natural Sciences is nothing when you already have a BA with First Class Honours in English Literature and an MA in same?? I did not think extra degrees in different disciplines devalued each other.

But my mum will be there, and this is the first time Lisa gets to attend one of my graduations in person (she watched the first two via live stream while at work), so I am pleased about that. Also me and my sister had an adult conversation about her non-attendance. (To wit: she doesn't like crowds or formal events, but was happy to be invited; I didn't need her to come, but needed to know she would want to support me. Instead of sulking at each other [as at my previous two graduations], we discussed it and now she knows she is invited but that I don't expect her to come, and I know she supports me. MIRACLES.)

Also, I got my undercut buzzed properly short again today and it feels good.

Went into the garden plot today to discover my beans and squash have pushed up healthy sprouts. That alone makes the shitty week prior much less shitty.
