We're still hanging on, guys? No one is invincible but fuck if we are not giving a good go at survival today.

I'm over access_fandom way trying to make emoji and hanzi work in my fic with some certainty that I can convey the intended meanings to all my readers and without resorting to hacky workarounds like embedding images of the emoji and hanzi with alt text (because images containing only text is bad praxis, y'all). Is frustrating.

The thing I thought was the midpoint of this fic is 5.2K in. Fic draft is 7.2K and counting and, hey, turns out the thing at 5.2K has a shitton of consequences! What the hell.

Two of my AO3 works are over 500 kudos now. Two!

I got my boss to give me 3 days off from work (which is a gift since I'm technically STILL on probation) and it's be WONDERFUL. I haven't had a day off in 6 months and I was starting to fray at the seams. Focusing on my own needs, without feeling the stress of capitalism is fantastic. Who knew???

I also took this time to edit and post episode 2 of my science podcast where I interview people and ask them to share their lives as a scientist. Lastly, I'm still doing tarot readings for the rest of June, donations NOT required! Hit me up on my page.
