:) That makes a lot of sense, and it's honestly a good way to refocus on the world.
I've generally done best at it when I have some form of external accountability and/or a specific time/day that I do it. And when I'm okay with saying something over and over again (e.g., if I were to say that I'm grateful for my cat, or that my girlfriend makes me happy, or sunlight, or flowers, or the other like five things that I often come back to -- that's okay, it's still part of the practice to say something you're grateful for even if it's the same thing), that's also a lot easier than the times when I give myself arbitrary things like 'no you need to come up with something new multiple times before defaulting back to those'.
