Okay, so let's do a thing.

Give me two members, one between 1 and 15 and another between 1 and 30. These correlate to prompts that I will write a tiny fic based around.

- It will probably be original unless struck deeply by a fandom urge.
- Tell me if you have any things you're not really in the right mood to read about right now.
- The first fifteen prompts are from the other prompt request post I made, so if you have something from there, you'll hopefully get a tiny fic to see you into the new year.

Oomph, this one got sad and I don't know why. But well, here we go.

Sometimes, when she's very still, very lucky, and very quiet, she can remember what the sky looks like.

The dark blue of an evening overwhelms her imagination, a dusting of stars lining the inside of her eyelids, and she remembers the feeling of dancing on light feet as a woman plays the fiddle.

Stolen moments, each and every one of them, just like this, just like this...

She blinks, the world is blinding, bright and aching again. The memories scatter like birds off a wire and even though she thinks she can hear music, she can't seem to recall why.

Perhaps it is sad, but mostly it's really beautiful and evocative imagery. :) And the sadness isn't the focus, as I read it; rather, it centers on the momentary beauty.

Wow, I guess I'm in a mood. Okay then, I'm gonna go with it. XD.

Love and Death meet at the edge of the lake, Death arriving first, and love coming in after.

"Hi," Love says, their bright eyes catching the moonlight and looking that much more magical for it.

Death smiles, pushing back their hair, so they can see Love a bit better. They cherished looking at their sibling at night, the way Love commanded anywhere they went, even out here in the darkness.

"I'm sorry," Death says, peering at their own hands. "I have to do something that--That you won't--"

"Shhh," Love says, putting their finger to Death's lips. "It's all right, you're doing what you have to do. You're still one of my favorites."

Later, when the world is falling, when Death is the only one left, at least for a while, they cherish the feeling of Love's fingers on their lips, the kindness they offered, even at the very end of things..

And in the land of dreams, the Queen stands on high, her head raised, her eyes moon bright and full of wonder.

Your heart beats hard in your chest. Your legs shake, your mouth waters. You are hungry for her touch, you want to go to her, have her hands in your hair, have her lips on your forehead.

"So good for me," you want her to say. "Such a good pet."

You're a hunter by nature, a hound meant to hunt the dreams that need chasing. You rack them down and drag them back to your Queen for whatever purpose she has in mind for them. You do your job proudly, do it with vigor and glee because you know she will come and find you when your job is done. She'll bring you to her chambers and touch her fingers to your fur, change you into whatever she wants you to be and you will serve her in whatever way she has planned.

You feel yourself start to whine, pull against the familiar flesh of your usual form. You want the hunt, the chase, but more than that, you want what comes after.

You want to serve your Queen.
