She's fine, as am I. It was just a little terrifying for a moment there.

We're both fine. She got much petting and concern but she's safe and happy to be getting love that is not from a very hot candle.

Yeah, we're good. <3 She singed a tiny bit of the end of her fur but oh wow was it terrifying.

Yeah, it was less than fun but she's totally fine, which is what matters.

Mine's done that-- leaned up against a pot on a gas stove. He didn't notice at all, and had no idea why we were pushing him off the stove, pouring water over him, and screaming. Until he tried to groom later and was all why does my fur taste so awful? BECAUSE IT IS SINGED, CAT. I hope your cat is similarly fine, and that they never, ever do it again.
