Today's Writing:
I got around 700 words today. I'm pretty pleased with it, as a lot of the words came from going back and adding words to what I've already written. I'm at 2000 words in my first story and am hoping to find a way to wrap it up in the next few days, so I have time to edit and submit it before the 11th. We will see though!

Tally:

Congrats on the words.

Sounds like you're making good progress!

I wrote 411 words for Mini-wrimo, on the bookshop novel. Plus a bit more brainstorming on that.

And the usual work on the nonfiction thing.

Best of luck wrapping your story up!

I did well in the morning, then fell apart in the evening. Family drama really sucks, especially when you have anxiety. Added 3300 words, mostly brainstorming.

Oh, that's always nice when it happens during going back! Good luck with finishing it as planned!

I wrote exactly 1230 words today. All of them were a bit of a struggle, but I feel this fight had to be fought so I can move on from this scene and the rest can be saved during edits.

Yay words! Good luck wrapping up the story so you have time to edit! ♥

I finished one of the ficlets I'd started, and I wrote some more notes on my historical novel idea. Managed to just push over the 300, again.

Only scrounged half an hour to write but banged out a solid 500 words in that, so I'm crossing fingers the words keep flowing that easily and I can catch up my nano deficit quickly.

Yay for more words, especially if they're of the tweaking kind. Sometimes that picayune little stuff is what turns a story into something really great, at least in my experience. :-)

My total word gain on the Loki/Thor story was 302 words, but as I spent a lot of time going through the first half of the story and taking things out, tweaking, etc, there may have been more words at some point.

About 100 words in longhand again. Tiny increments are better than nothing?

Well done on getting to the 2000 word mark, it sounds like you are really on track.

I am probably not going to check in daily because I feel my brain can either do public accountability or treating things with really low stakes. But if it's okay to check in on and off, I will.

I got 1753 words on Nano done today, and about four or five pages in longhand finishing up a story I've been drafting.

Day three had good prompts and I have good idea seeds that appeared, but it was a lot of heavy-lifting wordwise. I got 1334 on two prompts.
