This week has been kind of hard on us, nothing terrible has happened but it's been long and tiring and I am happy we survived this long. I hope your week is doing better than mine and that you are still here to celebrate with us.

• showing off something cool you've done/made/experienced this week.
• being generally enthused and excited about things that have happened.
• just being thrilled that you survived.

I got back from a trip back to Japan to see friends for the New Year, and I may not be especially comfortable at home, but I'm so glad to be back, anyway. The trip was one of those things where I went because I knew I should, but didn't want to because almost everything about being there is mentally tied up in the memory of hitting pretty much my lowest low.

I survived, and de-briefed with my therapist yesterday, and that was good. The trip wasn't pleasant, precisely, but it was productive. And now I'm back where there are abundant fresh vegetables, and pimento cheese, and my cat, and I'm not spending most of my day in exhausting, unstructured social time, so things are looking up.
