[Tarot] Thursday readings!
Sep. 12th, 2019 10:21 amIf you want a Thursday reading, come say so over here and get some insight!
I have themes for both today and tomorrow, so remember if you want one that's more suitable for Friday, mention that and I'll get to it tomorrow.

Date: 2019-09-13 12:01 pm (UTC)When you do readings, what do you do if you draw cards that just don't make sense together? Or, how do you go about interpreting the reading if you don't see the connection? i.e. Ron Weasley trying to read tea leaves and going, "So, you're gonna suffer, but you're gonna be happy about it...?"
I ask bc I'm still only confident doing readings for myself, and sometimes they're very clear, but sometimes they are NOT.

Date: 2019-09-13 03:57 pm (UTC)As for unclear readings, I find that even if it doesn't make sense to me, there's either something I don't know about or, if it makes sense to neither of us, I'm not looking at the right aspect of the card. Double checking that you're looking at the right aspect of the card helps a lot. I'll occasionally refer to a book or app or whatever, just to make usre i"m not forgetting something in the potential meaning, cause I deault to certain interpretations.

Looking at different aspects of the card makes sense. I try to clear my mind and be open to whatever the universe is trying to tell me, but that doesn't always work as well as I'd like. I do have a book that I use sometimes, if I'm stuck or just need more information.
I also will sometimes draw another card to clarify, even saying something like, "Okay, give me a little bit more, I'm confused." Having another person in the room would probably help, if it's something that would make sense to them and not me.
Thanks for answering!
