[Tarot] Opening up shop

tomakeanofferSo, I mentioned doing tarot the other day and here we are.
Today I am doing two card readings, one card for the dark, one for the light.
Your card of darkness is a card of things to remember, to leave behind and to honor and acknowledge from the year that has been.
The card of light is a card about things to look forward to. It's a card to remember as you go forward into the last month of the year and into the new decade.
If you happen to want to donate, here's my PayPal and if you'd like a third card, all you have to do is signal boost in some way and you'll get a shadow card. This one will be about things that you might need to look out for that could trip you up in the coming days.
I will PM people readings, if they'd prefer, or you can let me know if you'd rather I just leave it in a comment.
So yeah, that's what I'm going to do for the next week or so. I'll close this post Wednesday (the 4th) or so, unless I'm totally caught up, in which case I'll let you guys know in case someone else might be interested.

Even in small moments, remember there is still peace and comfort and a middle ground int hew world. It's not all chaos and calamity. Sometimes you can still find balance and you should let that notion be comforting and remind you that it will still be attainable.
Light - Eight of Pentacles
Be open to learning. Let the world and the people in it teach and guide you into the new year. You might hunger for something new, but it takes work and you're only at the beginning stages. You have a lot to learn and absorb before starting headlong into what's coming. Don't forget to put in the work and listen to what the universe has to teach you.

Well, look at you. This is a reminder that you have the world at your feet, that possibilities are endless, that you are not trapped in the path you have started on. Maybe take the new year to try something different, open up to possibilities and experimentation. The world is the end, but it's the beginning, and it's a universe unfolding at your feet.

Things are hard, and you may feel like it's not worth pursuing but even if the only reward is that it makes you happy, you should go after the things you want to attempt in the coming year.

Date: 2019-12-01 07:25 pm (UTC)Things have felt out of balance, chaotic, unmoored or even just in complete disarray. This is a reminder that it was not always that way. You need to remember that you can find balance, even i the darkest times. You need to let go of the idea of a chaotic life, that nothing ever pans out for the better, and remind yourself that things will play out in your favor sometime.
Light - Wheel of Fortune
And, even though I've spoken of balance and harmony, I think this is a reminder that things will not always be that way. That sometimes the wheel will turn and be dancing in extremes. Which is not always a bad thing, look forward to when the wheel spins in your favor because it can happen. Remember that chance is just that, chance and you might just have things fall in a way that works out best for you.

It may have been a hard journey and it may not be over yet. However, you did hard, good work in getting you to the place you are in now and that's important tot honor and acknowledge.
Your light card was the Devil. This is encouragement to give in to things sometimes. We all hold back, think we shouldn't do a thing or maybe aren't worth doing it. Don't let that stop you this year. When doubt rears its head, remember it's okay to be tempted, of]]to indulge and do what you want for a while. If nothing else, look it as recharge time, as moments spent investing in yourself, rather than other people. Know that doing such thing sis okay and you are allowed to put yourself and your desires first.
And, as it turns out, I pulled a shadow card for you, so have that as well. This card is the Hanged Man. It's indecision and hesitation and kind of what the Devil is telling you to not do. Be careful to not let yourself hesitate too long, don't miss out on things you want to do, or wonder too long if you are capable or worthy of doing a thing. Just go forth and do it.

You've had a rough go in some aspects, you've struggled and clawed your way though things, even if it was in minor issues through the year. However, don't forget that work. Because yes, it's still work and you deserve to honor that and remember that you shouldn't devalue the things you do and the work you put forth.
The card lighting the way is the Magician. It's a reminder that you have so much power inside you. You can make things happen, that you have the ability and drive to create the things you want existing for yourself, you just have to find a way to go after it. This doesn't mean you don't get help, be it through friends and other support, through medication, or through anything else you can lean on to help keep you upright. The point though, is that you are powerful in your own ways and you can do the things you want.
